"The museum of spectacular spectacles"

Brand Guideline
To create a brand identity to an unusual museum that engages, educates and entertains people in a way that a traditional museums may not.
Sunglasses are not just a fashion accessory; they also serve a practical purpose. In designing the logo, we aimed to merge these two concepts, resulting in a sleek and clean design that is undeniably stylish. By incorporating the shape of the iconic Wayfarer sunglasses, we created a recognizable symbol, subtly integrating the S logo to convey that the museum offers more than meets the eye.
SpecSpace was created to display the personality behind each pair of sunglasses, connecting people from all around the world.

LOGO

This logo emerged from the challenges of designing a symbol for a museum showcasing spectacles of various shapes and sizes. The goal was to create a recognizable yet iconic symbol, and after 180 iterations, this is the result.
The Wayfarers, a symbolic frame from the 1950s worn by icons like Muhammad Ali, Bob Dylan, and the Beatles, served as the perfect foundation. Their recognizable design provided a starting point for a logo that references this classic frame while incorporating unique elements.
The frames are more rounded but retain the classic sunglasses look. To incorporate the "S" of Spec and Space, I used the lens's shine to create this shape, achieving the desired effect.

The SpecSpace logo is not only recognizable, modern, and sleek but also has a strong silhouette that distinguishes it from other sunglass brands. Whether seen with or without the SpecSpace name, the "S" shaped lenses make it instantly identifiable.
